had a convo about this with my friends tonight. we thought it was too small. i mean the thing is "pencil thin" it'll dropp out of my pockect or it might snap in half.

and the price of $250, too much for something that can only store 1000 songs. thats around the price i got my hd-1. i know its not the easiest to use and it doesn't have all the apple extras but it can hold up to10,000 songs which is what i like to have.

Yeah id be afraid of breaking it ;P
Or losing it..

Not bad tho..
Itunes is a pretty good program.. I like it for the playlists.. Im too lazy to go to the folder with all my winamp plalists all the time. Oh and i love the search feature, just type in a word and it instantly finds it.
I hate quicktime with a passion though.. Never liked those headphones that go in your ear, i always thought they were uncomomfortable

I've used just about every music player that I can think of. Musicmatch Jukebox would be pretty good if it wasn't so buggy. Winamp is good but the playlists don't compare to those of Itunes. WMP doesn't even deserve a spot on this list, yet I just said it anyway. And countless others. All have been on my computer at one point. Only one remains. Itunes remains undefeated.

About the Nano... I thought the mini was small enough, but I guess I'm wrong. The only thing that can hold all of my music is a full on laptop anyway, so I might as well just get one of those.

Soon we'll have Ipodflakes. You eat them, listen to the music inside them, and shit it out.

Jesus @ that thing, how small do we want it? It's like a piece of paper. I hope you can fold it into an aeroplane or something.

What ever happened to those lollypops that had music that played through your teeth? I really liked the idea behind those...

Does anyone know how to purge the songs that cant be found out of your library on iTunes.. I'm beginning to think you cant do it. Its annoying if you move songs around allot.

I tend to keep all of my music in the same area. But I know what you mean when you move it and then have to find a way to get rid of the "can't be found" songs. Just add the songs from the new area and do the show duplicate songs thing. Then just clear the ones that aren't found. It would be a nice feature to have though. Just a button to delete all of the nonexistant songs.

Yeah i dont particularly want to let itunes "consolidate" my library of over 4,000 songs into artist/ genre. Id never see any of them ever again :/
Nor do i want it to copy it into the library..
So i cant really do anything about the files it cant find :/

best option, that i know, is:

edit>select all
press del on your keyboard
files>add folder to library
add your songs again

but it wouldn't work well if your computer is slow.
